Betty Bow Bag PDF sewing pattern

Betty Bow Bag PDF sewing pattern

This fun and quick sewing pattern was made especially for cute vinyl! Minimal interfacing needed - I only used SF101 on my lining and no interfacing at all on my vinyl.

I did a LIVE sew making a cork version here.

Looking to make a fabric bow instead of a vinyl bow? Here are the instructions.

Get the SVG files here.

In the pattern you'll find two size options --but you can adjust sizes easily if you need a smaller or larger case!

Finished sizes:

small 10" W x 8" T x 2.5" D

large 14.5" W x 11" T x 3.5" D

These cases have boxed corners, so they stand up just fine on their own.

Supplies:

(1) zipper length 9.5” for small OR 14” for large

Main Body exterior fabric Fat quarter for small / 2 FQ for large Lining fabric (same)

Interfacings: I recommend Pellon SF101 for adding structure and body to lining. I prefer foam interfacing for fabric exterior pieces OR vinyl which doesn’t usually need interfacing at all.

Additional helpful tools: Teflon or non-stick sewing foot (MUST for vinyl), zipper foot, chrome Universal sewing needle (size 80), turning tool or chop stick, & Wonder Clips.
